Desirée Nathanson,

MS, DTR, NPI-Certified Posture Specialist (CPS)

This is, by far, the best certification program I have done yet. This is my eighth certification and none of those programs provided the applicable information that the Certified Posture Specialist (CPS) program has provided. I have been sharing my new-found posture knowledge with my clients and students as I went through the CPS program and they are as excited as I am about me becoming a Certified Posture Specialist. I am convinced that correct posture and body alignment will make the world a happier and healthier place and now I can do my part to make sure it happens!

I had taken several of Ken's classes at the Atlanta Mania Conference, and was incredibly excited to learn that there is an entire certification dedicated to proper posture and body alignment! Seeing how many organizations honor the NPIs certifications for CEUs helped solidify my decision to start the Certified Posture Specialist-CPS program. Again, this will be my 8th certification, not including my master's, and of all those courses, books, lectures, etc, none have gone into detail about how to conduct consultations with a client the way this program does. I think the CPS is a wonderful certification to have in general, and the amount of information that Ken and the NPI provide their students with is invaluable.

Thank you, NPI and Ken Baldwin.

Jessica Pinkowski

NPI-Certified Posture Specialist (CPS)

My name is Jessica Pinkowski and I’ve been working in the fitness industry for over 16 years. Prior to teaching group fitness, I was a dance instructor. My years as a dance and fitness professional have instilled the importance of body alignment and good posture. It was a natural attraction for me to investigate the National Posture Institute and their Certified Posture Specialist program. The economic commitment was substantial and I was skeptical about how this would benefit my fitness career; so I decided to do my homework on becoming a Certified Posture Specialist (CPS).

The NPI team had a booth at a fitness convention I attended so I stopped by to ask a few questions. I spoke with the NPI staff and was impressed with their extensive knowledge and the time they were willing to spend with me answering all my questions and concerns. I was convinced that my investment to become a CPS would pay off. Gaining the skill-set to become an expert in my field would advance me professionally and therefore financially. When I walked away from the NPI booth I was inspired and eagerly committed to my new journey of becoming a Certified Posture Specialist (I started with the Onsite NPI Posture Analysis Workshop first and then completed my training with the Online CPS).

My roles as a mother of two active children and fitness professional leave me with limited time for myself. With my tight schedule, the best feature of the Online CPS program was the flexibility it provided me. I could log on at any time and take quizzes when I was ready. I never felt overwhelmed or pressured during or after the course. I can honestly say that the NPI team sets you up for success and communicates promptly and professionally regarding any questions or challenges you may experience during your study of the course. The National Posture Institution gives you all the tools needed to start your posture specialist program right away. I felt prepared and confident to begin implementing what I learned immediately in my class curriculum. Since I received my CPS, I am able to increase my earning potential just by preparing short educational sessions demonstrating the importance of proper posture and how to make needed improvements. It’s been very rewarding.

If you are working in the health and fitness industry and want to increase your class attendance, personal training clients and add confidence to yourself, then you need to become a Posture Specialist too! My students have improved in balance, strength and overall wellness simply by improving their posture. Thanks NPI!

Nick Rainey

NPI-Certified Posture Specialist (CPS)

I am very, very glad that I went through the process to become a Certified Posture Specialist. The material that I learned was invaluable. It is not basic knowledge that all trainers have. It taught me details of the anatomy of the spine and the biomechanics of the spine. It also taught me the layers of muscles that are important in keeping correct posture. As a personal trainer/strength coach I work on people's muscles. Now I understand what muscles need to be worked and in what manner they need to be worked to achieve perfect posture. However, the most important reason I'm glad I am a Certified Posture Specialist is that it gives me confidence in improving people's posture.

I know that I've taken the steps to become a posture expert. The clients I help also know that I have taken the steps to become a posture expert so they really embrace what I teach. Almost all my clients (and potential clients) know they need better posture. Now I have one m ore credential that sets me apart from competition. People are always impressed when I say I'm a Certified Posture Specialist through the National Posture Institute.

Rebecca Engel,

RN, NPI-Certified Posture Specialist (CPS)

The Certified Posture Specialist program improved my ability to teach and help people help themselves. The detailed explanations of how to evaluate clients and safely teach posture correction programs is applicable not only to personal and group exercise training, but also to people I contact in other areas of my life.

Everyone can benefit from posture, balance training and body alignment assessments. Fitness Professionals should all be knowledgeable on postural assessment and balance training. the benefits can be seen with any fitness goal/program you design for a client. The education you receive from the NPI Certificate courses is unique and beneficial to all health and fitness professionals.
